Lesson 6: Final Floral Vase Arrangement (basic player)

In this final lesson, we’ll bring everything together to create a full-page floral arrangement in a vase using one of the composition styles. You’ll work with paint and mixed media to create a layered, personal bouquet that reflects your style and voice.

Art Materials:

  • Watercolor pencil for sketching: Faber-Castell Warm Grey

  • Brushes: Flat brush size 1/2”, Round brush in sizes 12, 5, Detail brush size 20/0”

  • Brush sets I recommend: W&N set or this Royal Langnickel set

  • Hot Pressed Cotton Watercolor Paper brands: Fluid, Arches, Fabriano, Etchr, Blicks

  • W&N Designers Gouache Paint: Permanent Middle Green, Burnt Umber, Yellow Ochre, Permanent Yellow Deep, Spectrum Red, Zinc White

  • Pastels (optional): Caran d’ache Neocolor II Golden Ochre 033, Russet 065, Light Olive 245, Dark Olive 249, Salmon Pink 071, Salmon 051, Sahara Yellow 521, Umber 049

  • Water Spray bottle

  • Paint palette
