Lesson 5: Inventing Blooms & Mini Compositions

Let’s step away from references and start inventing new flowers inspired by everything you’ve explored so far. In Part 1, you’ll create your own imaginative blooms. Then in Part 2, we’ll dive into three mini compositions using different layout styles—C-curve, S-curve, and triangle—so you can start to understand asymmetry, rhythm, and color placement."

  • Paper: Drawing Diary Sketchbook or any hot pressed watercolor paper
